ABOUT

The ​Bearded Men Society is a nonprofit that directly supports the local community. For over a decade we have been volunteering, fundraising, and supporting those who need help. As an independent beard club, we pride ourselves on giving back 100% of what we receive to the cause. We were voted Best Charitable group of 2024 in Coastal Styles Magazine. We meet the first Thursday of every month, upstairs at Pizza Tugos in West OC at 7:00pm.

We do most of our charitable work to support Diakonia and Making Strides for Breast Cancer Ocean City Chapter, as we feel that these organizations go above and beyond to help those in our community. Our civil engagement has varied; from renovating living facilities and hosting live musical events to helping in the setup and breakdown of events for others. We have partnered with the SPCA and CMTA in past events. We have also created events to help those specifically who had medical emergencies. In other words, we help those in need any way we can! Most people recognize us from parades, but there is more to us than that.
